It’s the job of the Soul
to stretch out across
the body of the desert
and touch, without skin
or fingers or nerves,
the hidden creek
that wets our knowledge
of who we are.

A real-life conversation about the nature of the Soul

June 2019 — True Story — Transcribed from My Journal

T: I sold my soul to have what I have.

M: That’s what you believe.

T: I don’t “believe” it — I know it.

M: You know it — okay let’s say you do. But you haven’t yet come to know the rest of this equation. If you know that much to be true, then you’ve only realized half of it.

T: Go on.
